ABOUT HIFU
HIFU, or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, is a revolutionary treatment for a non-surgical approach to a traditional surgical facelift.
It works by penetrating energy into the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System- the muscular system of the face, this is the same system that is manipulated during a surgical facelift, the deep dermis, and subcutaneous fibrous tissue.
Energy is transmitted into these layers causing controlled trauma. This then causes contraction and tightening of the muscular layer, leading to repair, and immediate collagen stimulation, rejuvenating, firming, and plumping the skin.
Originally, HIFU was used for treating tumours, then it was known for Brow Lifts, now it’s been improved to reduce lines and wrinkles all over the face, upper chest, neckline and jawline.
WHY IT'S THE CLOSEST TO A SURGICAL FACELIFT
